John is enjoying life as an Account Executive all through Florida and in to the Bahamas.

He calls on independent retailers and wholesalers: Anpesil Distributing, Branex Distributing [Tampa], Independent Wholesale [Orlando], Tree of Life, and Jetro Cash & Carry in Miami.

Originally, from Rochester, NY, John’s family relocated to South Florida while he was still a teenager. After graduating from Fort Lauderdale’s St. Thomas Aquinas High School, he continued his studies at Broward Community College.

John’s first job in the food business came in 1961 when he joined Nabisco. What started as a relief sales representative position covering the territories of employees on vacation or sick, developed over the years through the ranks as positions of Sales Representative, District Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Account Manager, Assistant Regional Manager in Dallas, TX and then back to South Florida in 1993, as the Account Manager calling on Winn-Dixie’s Miami division. He retired from the Nabisco in mid-1997. Now that’s what we call job loyalty.

His 33-year career with Nabisco was followed by 3+ years as an account executive with St. Augustine based Specialty Partners.

John’s words: “I’ve always liked the challenges this business affords, as well as the opportunities it offers to interact with people.”

John and his wife Mary are sports fans and love to travel. They spread their time between home in Florida and North Carolina.
