Rick Dimaggio - Retail
Supervisor
Tampa Division |
Specialties:
Store Sets
Hired: October 2002 |
As the Central and Southwest Florida Retail
Supervisor Rick attends to various neighborhood stores. Rick
knows the pride we take in representing our principals at
store sets. He can offer feedback on the growth of our products
and together, this helps new and old principals become aware
of the process involved in getting a new item launched in
a new and or existing market.
Born and raised in Chicago, Rick graduated from Argo Community
High School, Summitt, IL. He spent two years in the Marine
Corps as a radio operator with the third battalion 10th Marine
Division, including eight months in the Mediterranean aboard
the LLT U.S. Boulder. Following his discharge from the service
in 1973, he joined the Chicago Northwestern Railroad as a
conductor.
Following 17 years with the railroad, he joined Mayflower
Tours, Downers Grove, IL in 1990 and worked as both the Reservations
and Transportation Department Manager. He began teaching computer
repair in 1998 before fulfilling a lifelong dream of moving
to Florida, in 2001.
Residing near Tampa with his wife Gayle [a Region Sales Manager
for soy milk producer Jasper Products] Rick, has quite a variety
of interests. He is an avid compact disc collector, mostly
jazz, has taught computer mechanics and admits to attending
and even participating in a few drag racing competitions.
